Minecraft is a challenging game, especially for young kids or if you’re unexperienced. It’s easy to lose hearts quickly and be forced to start over.
Fortunately, Minecraft has a friendly mode called Creative Mode that is perfect for kids or if you are just looking to play the game without worrying about survival.
Creative mode in Minecraft lets you be basically invincible and have unlimited resources. You can also Fly once you’ve got creative mode enabled! Read on to get the six simple steps.
Turn on Creative Mode
1. During the game, press the Pause button (at the top).
2. Press the Settings button (on the left).
3. Under Default Game Mode, click the check box for Creative Mode.
5. Click the X at the top right to close and return to the menu.
4. After you change the default game mode to Creative, a new option appears for Personal Game Mode. Click this to change this box to Creative.
6. Click Resume Game to go back to the game.

Step 3 – Under Default Game Mode, click the check box for Creative Mode.
Step 4 – In Personal Game Mode box, click this to change this box to Creative.
After you change the default game mode to Creative, a new option appears for Personal Game Mode.
Step 6 – Click Resume Game to go back to the game.
Fly in Minecraft
With Creative mode enabled, you will now be able to fly in Minecraft!
- For a computer, quickly click the SPACE key twice.
- For a phone or tablet, quickly click the Jump button twice.
